Two changes of leadership occur within the unit charged with the realization of the Tessa and Khalled dams, located in the Kef Governorate and Beja Governorate, respectively.
Two decisions by the Minister of Agriculture, Hydraulic Resources and Fisheries, dated August 6, 2026 and published in the Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic (JORT) No. 82 of August 14, terminate the functions of two engineers involved in monitoring this hydraulic project.
Two changes within the project management unit
According to the JORT, Mnaouer Y., senior engineer, has been relieved of his duties as project manager within the results-based management unit charged with the realization of the Tessa and Khalled dams and their associated hydraulic works.
A second decision ends the duties of Issam B. M., also a senior engineer, who held the position of deputy director in charge of monitoring the Khalled dam’s construction within the same unit.
A hydraulic project concerning Kef and Beja
The targeted results-based management unit is responsible for monitoring the realization of two hydraulic infrastructures: the Tessa Dam in the Kef Governorate and the Khalled Dam in the Beja Governorate, as well as the hydraulic works associated with them.
This structure thus provides dedicated administrative oversight for the implementation of the project and its various components.
The two texts published in the Official Journal are limited to terminating the functions of the officials concerned.
No motive is mentioned in the published decisions, and no successor has been named.
Thus, these changes affect the organization of the results-based management unit charged with the realization of the two dams and their ancillary hydraulic works.
