FC Basel is expecting strong turnout for the visit of FC Barcelona, Sunday at 4:30 PM. The match will be played behind closed doors, and the Swiss club is urging supporters to anticipate their arrival at the stadium.

NB: FC Basel recommends arriving early
The stadium doors will open at 2:30 PM, i.e., two hours before kickoff. Because of the large number of spectators anticipated, FC Basel recommends prioritizing public transport.

Traffic disruptions and congestion are to be expected around the stadium, but also on the roadways leading to it. Supporters are therefore asked to allow enough time for their journey.

The club also notes that help points will be available in case of issues with tickets. However, only ticket holders purchased through official sales channels will be able to benefit from this assistance. A ticket obtained from a third-party platform may not guarantee access to the stadium.

Guidelines for Barça supporters
FC Basel also reminds that sector D is exclusively reserved for its own supporters. People seated in this area are therefore asked not to wear FC Barcelona products or jerseys.

This measure aims to avoid problems related to the distribution of supporters in a stadium that is expected to be particularly lively for this fixture.

With a fully sold-out Joggeli and the presence of many Barça supporters, FC Basel therefore expects a real football celebration on Sunday.

However, the club wants to avoid the exceptional turnout turning into logistical difficulties around the stadium.
