The Center for Export Promotion (CEPEX), in cooperation with the Tunisian Embassy in Abuja, is organizing an exploratory mission as well as bilateral business meetings dedicated to the agricultural and livestock sectors, from November 16 to 20, 2026 in the Nigerian capital Abuja, on the margins of the Nigeria International Agriculture Exhibition, NIAEXPO.
This initiative aims to enable Tunisian companies to identify new export opportunities to the Nigerian market, to examine possibilities for forming commercial and investment partnerships, and to strengthen the presence of Tunisian products and services on a promising African market.
This mission takes place in a context where Nigeria seeks to strengthen its food security, support its food sovereignty, and modernize its agricultural and agri-food systems, thereby opening up new prospects for Tunisian companies active in several high value-added sectors.
The targeted sectors include notably inputs, equipment and agricultural machinery, smart agriculture, digital solutions and technologies related to livestock, as well as livestock farming, animal feed, and veterinary medicines.
The mission program foresees the organization of a preparatory webinar devoted to presenting the Nigerian market in the fields of agriculture and livestock. It also includes Tunisian participation in the Nigeria International Agriculture Fair through a national collective pavilion, as well as the organization of pre-scheduled bilateral business meetings between Tunisian and Nigerian companies.
The program moreover provides field visits and meetings with several relevant structures and institutions, in order to enable Tunisian participants to better grasp the realities of the Nigerian market and to explore the various opportunities for cooperation available.
This initiative is part of the efforts to support Tunisian companies’ access to African markets and to diversify their export destinations, by offering direct opportunities to engage with economic actors and to assess possibilities for establishing durable partnerships.
