The Tunisian olive oil exports recorded a clear rise during the first ten months of the 2025-2026 campaign, in both volume and value, according to data published by the National Observatory of Agriculture.

The quantities exported reached 381,200 tonnes, an increase of 50.8% compared with the same period of the 2024-2025 campaign.

Bulk oil dominates exports

According to the National Observatory of Agriculture, 85.5% of the quantities exported during the first ten months of the 2025-2026 campaign concern bulk olive oil.

Packaged olive oil accounts for, for its part, 14.5% of the volumes exported over the same period.

Revenues reach 4,780.4 million dinars

In value, olive oil exports reached 4,780.4 million dinars, an increase of 41.2% compared with the first ten months of the previous campaign.

Receipts generated by bulk olive oil exports account for 80.7% of the total, against 19.3% for packaged oil.

The average export price rises in August

The National Observatory of Agriculture also reports a 7.1% rise in the average export price of olive oil in August 2026 compared with the same month of the previous year.

This change concerns only August 2026 and does not reflect the average prices recorded over the entire first ten months of the campaign.

53,000 tonnes of organic olive oil exported

Export of organic olive oil reached 53,000 tonnes during the first ten months of the 2025-2026 campaign.

The value of these exports amounted to nearly 699.7 million dinars in the same period.
