FIPA-Tunisia announced that an official ceremony held on September 24, 2026, marked the signing of an industrial lease agreement between AKSA Aéronautique and the Ecopark of Borj Cedria.
This investment of nearly $5 million marks the establishment of the first Turkish aerospace player in Tunisia and the first African presence of AKSA Composites, specialized in advanced composite materials.
“This project for the manufacture of carbon fibers and advanced composite materials, used in high value-added sectors, illustrates, according to FIPA, technology transfer and the development of local skills, the integration of Tunisia into international value chains, and the strengthening of Tunisian-Turkish economic relations in the technological and aerospace sectors.”
And it adds that this journey testifies to Tunisia’s ability to transform opportunities into concrete achievements.
