The city of Hammamet will host, from November 5 to 7, 2026, the 12th edition of the International Forum of Information Systems Directors (DSI), organized under the theme “Full Focus: from idea to value,” with the participation of DSIs, experts, technology companies, startups and international delegations.
This edition will focus on artificial intelligence, innovation and digital transformation, according to a briefing note of which the TAP agency has received a copy.
The discussions will notably address the means of moving from AI concepts and experiments to concrete, controlled uses capable of creating tangible value for businesses and organizations.
The works will also address the transformations induced by artificial intelligence in professions, skills and organizations, as well as the challenges related to cybersecurity and technological infrastructures. Delegations from several African countries and other regions of the world will take part, alongside Tunisian and international DSIs.
The forum’s program, which will span three days, will include conferences, debates, round tables and workshops led by experts and speakers from several countries. The exchanges will primarily focus on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital transformation as well as the evolution of jobs and skills.
The event will also give a special prominence to innovation with the organization, for the first time within the forum, of a hackathon. This 48-hour challenge will be dedicated to a practical and well-defined problem.
The forum will also host a startup village bringing together 15 young Tunisian and African companies, as part of the Abdelwaheb Ben Ayed Innovation Award. This initiative aims to showcase innovative entrepreneurial projects and to strengthen their visibility among decision-makers and economic actors.
