The office of the National Professional Football League (LNFP), convened this Wednesday, October 7, 2026, decided to accept, in form and in substance, the reservation filed by Étoile Sportive du Sahel against Avenir Sportif de La Marsa. Consequently, the match must be replayed.
This decision comes after a challenge filed by the leaders of the Pearl of Sahel club, following a player change made by Avenir de La Marsa without the referee’s consultation.
In light of this reservation, the LNFP therefore decided to have this meeting, counted towards the national championship, replayed.
On the other hand, the management of Avenir de La Marsa, nicknamed “El Gnaweya,” refuses that the match be replayed before exhausting all avenues of appeal.
As a reminder, the meeting had ended with a 1-0 victory for Avenir de La Marsa.
It was also decided, after examining the complaint filed by Kawafel Sportives de Gafsa against Avenir Sportif de Kasserine regarding the participation of player Bilal Fekraoui during the match they played on September 27, 2026, while he was still under a two-match suspension, and after reviewing the case documents, hearing both parties to the dispute and deliberating in accordance with legal provisions, the following:
First: The complaint is declared admissible both in form and on the merits.
Second: The Avenir Sportif de Kasserine is declared the loser by penalty.
Third: The Avenir Sportif de Kasserine is fined 1,000 dinars.
Fourth: The administrative head of the Avenir Sportif de Kasserine, signatory of the match sheet, Mr. Abdeljalil Kacem, is fined 3,200 dinars and banned from taking a seat on the substitutes’ bench for one month.
Fifth: The player of the Avenir Sportif de Kasserine, Bilal Fekraoui, is sanctioned with an additional penalty, independently of the match subject to the complaint.
Sixth: The result of the match is recorded as follows:
