The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, received, on Friday, November 6, 2026, a telephone call from his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi. The two officials discussed, on this occasion, the latest developments in the region as well as the diplomatic efforts deployed to contain the ongoing crisis.

During this conversation, the two ministers underscored the importance of privileging dialogue and resorting to negotiations, considered as the means capable of reaching a solution that would end the current crisis and ensure the security and stability of the Arab and Islamic countries of the region.

This exchange also allowed reaffirming the strength of the fraternal and cooperative relations between Tunisia and Iran, as well as examining ways to develop and strengthen them in different areas.
