The National Agency for Energy Efficiency (ANME) reminded today that the deadline for submitting applications to benefit from a financial aid of 10,000 dinars intended for the purchase of an electric vehicle used as an individual taxi is set for September 18, 2026 at 4:00 PM.

This measure is part of the program aimed at strengthening the use of electric mobility in Tunisia.

The program is funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented in Tunisia under the supervision of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the National Agency for Energy Efficiency, and the Ministry of Environment.

The beneficiaries will be selected among holders of individual taxi licenses whose files have been deemed administratively compliant and who submitted their application first.

The number of vehicles involved is capped at 47 electric taxis, with an equal distribution between women and men.

If the number of applications from one of the two genders proves to be insufficient, the remaining places will be allocated to other candidates in the order of receipt of the requests.
