The Higher Institute of Biotechnology of Béja (ISBB) announces the extension until 2031 of the ASIIN international accreditation for two programs: the bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology and the master’s in Technology of Dairy and Meat Products.

In an announcement posted on its official page, the institution presents this extension as the result of the work of its faculty, administrative and technical staff, its students and graduates, as well as its economic and social partners.

According to ISBB, this recognition strengthens the international visibility of the diplomas involved and supports opportunities for further study, academic mobility, and professional integration in Tunisia as well as abroad. The institute states that it is the only Tunisian institution to benefit from ASIIN accreditation in the field of food science and technology.

The evaluation conducted by the German organization focuses notably on the quality and structure of the programs, the learning outcomes, the competencies of the teachers, the infrastructures and the professional preparation of graduates.

Created in 2012 and affiliated with the University of Jendouba, ISBB is a public institution that provides training and research activities in biotechnology and in related disciplines.
