National team coach Anis Boussaidi has unveiled the list of players summoned to the Tunisia Under-23 national football team ahead of the double confrontation with Benin, counting for the first round of the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations in this category.
The Tunisian squad will host its opponent for the first leg on September 29 at the Sousse Olympic Stadium starting at 7:00 PM, before traveling to Lomé to contest the return leg scheduled for October 5 at 4:00 PM.
The winner of this double confrontation will face in the second round the Gabon national team, exempted from the first round.
As a reminder, the final tournament of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Egypt in 2027 with eight teams participating. The competition will also serve as a qualifying tournament for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
