Diaspora and Tourism: 3.2 Billion Dinars Earned as of March 20, 2026

Tourism receipts and cumulative labor earnings were drained during the period from January 1 to March 20, totaling 3,240.1 million dinars, according to monetary and financial indicators published on Monday by the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT).

Tourism receipts recorded an increase of about 4.8%, rising from 1,250.7 million dinars on March 20, 2026, to 1,310 million dinars on March 20, 2026, while labor earnings advanced by 6% year-on-year, to 1,930.1 million dinars.

As of March 20, 2026, the cumulative external debt service reached 1,618.7 million dinars, compared with 5,644.1 million dinars on March 20, 2025.

Regarding net foreign currency assets, they stood at 25,119 million dinars, covering 106 days of imports as of March 20, 2026, compared with 22,919.5 million dinars and 100 days of imports a year earlier.
