The joint control services of the Bizerte governorate carried out, this Tuesday, the execution of five demolition orders targeting several snack bars, fences and a construction erected in an anarchic manner, as well as the removal of illegal occupations of the public maritime domain in the areas of Port Beach and Sidi Ali El Mekki, in the Ghar El Melh delegation, according to a communiqué published by the Bizerte governorate on its official Facebook page.
This operation aims to put an end to the various forms of violation of the law as well as to the public and private domains. In this framework, the governorate, the delegation and the municipality services of Ghar El Melh, in coordination with the services of the Coastal Protection and Development Agency in Bizerte and the maritime guard, proceeded to demolish and remove a structure erected outside the legal framework, as well as several fences and snack bars. The operation also freed a significant portion of the public domain in the two areas concerned from illicit occupations.
According to the same source, the joint control services, on this occasion, called to support the official efforts deployed at the regional and local levels to curb violations against the public and private domains, through awareness-raising and preventive actions, all the more since these intensified control campaigns are continuing in the region, as in the rest of the governorate.
