This Monday, the luxury carmaker Porsche, facing difficulties, announced the sale of its management and information technology consulting subsidiary MHP to the Indian group Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a new step in its restructuring in response to the deterioration of its results.

The transaction, the amount of which has not been disclosed, still must receive regulatory and competition approvals, according to a press release.

The Zuffenhausen-based company (south) specified that it intends to maintain close cooperation with MHP after the change of ownership, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence and digital transformation used in its industrial and administrative processes.

With this operation, the group is implementing a new facet of its strategy aimed at concentrating more resources on the automotive business.

In this context, Porsche has already terminated its activities in batteries, software, and electric bikes.

Founded more than 30 years ago and based in Ludwigsburg, near Stuttgart, MHP employs more than 4,500 people and assists companies in their digital transformation projects.

Beyond the automotive sector, the company has gradually expanded into other sectors such as energy, defense, and the public sector.

Porsche, whose profits collapsed in 2025, is concurrently pursuing a broad restructuring program, which is set to result in the elimination of 8,900 jobs in total by 2035.
