The Embassy of Tunisia in Brussels organized an economic event dedicated to promoting investment in Tunisia and Tunisian olive oil, in collaboration with the German-Luxembourgish economic initiative.

The event took place at the headquarters of the Luxembourg Chamber of Trades, with the aim of highlighting investment opportunities in Tunisia and strengthening economic cooperation with European partners.

A showcase for Tunisian investment in Europe

This event highlighted the prospects for investment in Tunisia while consolidating economic relations with European actors, notably Luxembourgish and German ones.

It is part of a dynamic aimed at attracting more foreign investments and promoting Tunisian products on European markets, especially olive oil, considered one of the country’s main export products.

A diversified European participation

According to information published on the official Facebook page of the Embassy of Tunisia in Brussels, the event registered the participation of a large number of businessmen and businesswomen from Luxembourg and Germany.

The participants represented several key sectors, including trade, finance, information and communication technologies, industry, services and distribution.

Economic diplomacy at the heart of exchanges

In a speech delivered on this occasion, the Tunisian ambassador to Brussels, Sahbi Khalfallah, stressed the importance of strengthening Tunisian-Luxembourg cooperation.

He underscored the need to take advantage of the opportunities available to energize economic relations between the two countries, highlighting the central role of economic diplomacy in attracting investments and developing partnerships.

Tunisia, an attractive destination for investors

For his part, the honorary consul of Tunisia in Luxembourg, Alberto Conkel, presented Tunisia’s strengths as an investment destination.

He highlighted opportunities offered to Luxembourgish and German companies, notably in the sectors of trade, finance, information and communication technologies, services and industry.

Tasting and B2B meetings on the program

The program of the event also included a direct networking session among businesspeople, fostering exchanges and partnership prospects.

A tasting of different varieties of olive oil and Tunisian products was organized on this occasion, sparking interest and appreciation among participants.

A strategy to strengthen Tunisia’s economic presence
