The General Directorate of Taxes (DGI), under the Ministry of Finance, announced this Friday that the wealth tax declaration is now online.
As a reminder, the General Directorate of Studies and Legislation on taxes, under the Ministry of Finance, published General Note No. 13 of the year 2026, aimed at explaining the provisions of Article 88 of Law No. 17 of the year 2025, dated December 12, 2025, relating to the Finance Law for the year 2026, imposing the establishment of a wealth tax.
Note that this tax concerns assets valued between 3 million and 5 million dinars, taxed at a rate of 0.5%, as well as assets valued above 5 million dinars, taxed at 1%.
