During a meeting held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 in Tunis with the president of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Crafts, a delegation from the Italian group Gruppo Manifatture Italiane expressed its interest in expanding its investments in Tunisia and in developing its industrial activity in the country, given the sector’s potential and the human skills available to it.

The Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Crafts had organized, within the framework of the Tunisian-Italian Economic Forum as well as the 22nd edition of the Tunisia Investment Forum (TIF), a series of meetings in favor of this group.

The representatives of the group also presented, during the meeting, the reality of their activities in Tunisia, which are part of production chains destined for major international brands in the fashion, leather and footwear sectors. They underlined the nature of their work, based on precise production orders and strict quality standards, as well as on periodic audits to which companies are subjected to ensure their compliance with international standards.
