On the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons, celebrated on October 1, 2026, the Ministry of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly launched a new awareness capsule dedicated to preventing risks related to drug use.

Entitled “الحكواتي” (The Storyteller), this capsule was produced by the ministry as part of the National Participatory Initiative for the Prevention of Drug-Related Risks, in collaboration with the National Center for Computing for Children.

The capsule features the voice of storyteller Hichem Derouiche to convey a prevention message aimed especially at children and young people, while reminding that the dangers of drugs affect all generations.

The message emphasizes the destructive consequences of drugs, for both adults and children, and calls on young people to preserve their ambitions and projects in the face of situations of weakness or decisions taken under a moment of vulnerability.

Through this initiative, the ministry thus encourages young people to show strength and vigilance and to adopt a clear message: saying no to drugs.
