The Ministry of Communications Technologies announced this Sunday that the mobile application “Khadamat” is now available for download on the App Store, after having been made available to Android users via Google Play at the end of August last year.
This step is part of expanding digital public services and facilitating their access, through the provision of digital solutions enabling citizens to carry out remotely several administrative procedures and thus limit their trips between the different public structures.
The application aims to group together several digital services within a single space, with secure access based on the Tunisian digital identity “e-Houwiya.” “Khadamat” notably allows viewing and updating certain personal and administrative data, following service requests as well as the various stages of their processing, but also access to services related to administrative documents and civil status.
It also includes vehicle-related services, notably the consultation of information relating to the driving license and the vehicle registration card, the receipt of alerts concerning the expiration of certain documents, as well as access to data on the circulation tax and road violations. The application also allows making appointments for the technical inspection.
The application furthermore offers access to certain social and health services related to the National Health Insurance Fund (CNAM) and the National Social Security Fund (CNSS), as well as electronic payment services and the settlement of certain fees.
New administrative services are expected to be progressively integrated into the application, in order to broaden its uses and strengthen remote access to public services.
