About 3,000 people were reported missing on Saturday following flash floods and landslides that struck at the border between Nepal and the Chinese-administered Tibet region.
These disasters, which occurred on Wednesday, left 633 dead, according to official figures.

According to figures released on Friday by the Nepal Tourism Board, 149 Nepali tourists are missing.
Nepal’s disaster management agency put the figure at 127.

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday that around one hundred Chinese nationals were among those missing in Nepal.
The Nepal Tourism Board stated that contact had been lost with eight Chinese.
This figure adds to the 554 people whose whereabouts were unknown on the Chinese side of the border.

The figures from the Nepal Tourism Board on Friday reported 98 Indian nationals missing.

Ninety American citizens are missing, the State Department announced on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Nepal Tourism Board said on Friday that their number stood at 65.
