Fenix Sound Electronic Music Festival Returns with its Second Chapter in Bizerte

The upcoming edition of the renowned “Fenix Sound” electronic music festival is set to take place from July 12 to July 14, 2024, at Iris Residence S’hiri in Cap Serrat, Bizerte Governorate. This event is supported by Tunisia’s Ministry of Tourism, emphasizing its importance as a cultural and artistic gathering.

The Theme: “Sound of Waves” – A Festival Merging Art and Nature

Titled “Sound of Waves,” this second chapter promises to be a vibrant blend of artistic expression and cultural celebration. Fenix Sound is not merely a music festival; it’s a concept designed to highlight Tunisia’s rich artistic, cultural, and natural heritage through an immersive experience involving music, arts, and wellness. The event aims to foster a sustainable local economy by stimulating tourism and cultural pride while contributing to the development of the local community.

Moreover, the festival seeks to position Tunisia as a hub of innovative event tourism, supporting local communities and enhancing the country’s international image. The selection of Cap Serrat as the venue is no coincidence—its pristine beaches, clear waters, and picturesque landscapes create the perfect backdrop for this celebration of sound and nature.

Captivating Venue and Unique Atmosphere

Cap Serrat is characterized by its endless stretch of white sandy beach nestled between striking cliffs. Its unspoiled environment offers an authentic Mediterranean experience—so different from the tranquil Mediterranean coast generally associated with Tunisia. During Fenix Sound, the venue’s natural beauty will be highlighted through carefully curated decorations, lighting, and a specially designed atmosphere to elevate the festival experience.

Anticipated Crowd and Musical Line-up

The festival expects approximately 600 music enthusiasts to gather for three days of nonstop dancing and entertainment, featuring performances by 25 talented Tunisian DJs. This collective of passionate music lovers ranges in age from 25 to 50 and is united by a shared love of sound and rhythm.

Among the attendees, there will be international tourists drawn to Tunisia’s natural and cultural splendors. The festival plans to host at least a hundred cultural ambassadors, ensuring a rich diversity of backgrounds and stories. All share a universal language: music, which serves as a powerful connector transcending borders.

World-Class DJ Performances and Immersive Visuals

Fenix Sound’s organizing team is committed to elevating the experience with an impressive lineup of DJs, complemented by state-of-the-art audiovisual installations designed to deliver an immersive, multi-sensory journey. The festival will feature innovative stages, captivating lighting, and dynamic projection mappings—elements crafted to surprise and delight attendees at every turn.

Some of Tunisia’s top DJs will perform, accompanied by professional VJing (Visual Jockeying) artists such as ADWAS, Al-DEE, AZ_WAN, AITH, BEN DEEPER, BAQOOSH b2b KOSH, BOTI, BAYOU, BENNOUR, COACHELLO, DIFFERENT RAY, HAMRA b2b MAGADA, HAZE-M, ISMAILOVIC, KHALED MRABET, MEHDI MAGHRAOUI, MILKY, SAIF TOUATI, MARWEN BEN NASR, NEBILLA DEUSSAL, SINA, SUMERIEN, SWED and several others.

Beyond Music: Art, Fashion, and Community Activities

In addition to stellar musical performances, the festival will feature an exhibition village dedicated to showcasing Tunisian artists and craftsmen, supporting local communities and fostering cultural exchange. Visitors will also enjoy a fashion show highlighting Tunisian apparel brands, celebrating the country’s artisanal talent and craftsmanship.

The event will incorporate wellness activities offering moments of relaxation for attendees, alongside a beach volleyball tournament featuring emerging young teams. These initiatives aim to foster positive interactions, promote community spirit, and create a vibrant, inclusive environment.

Environmental Commitment and Community Engagement

Environmental sustainability is at the core of Fenix Sound’s ethos. A beach cleanup campaign will be organized around the event site to raise awareness about preserving Tunisia’s natural heritage. Educational installations and communication efforts will emphasize the importance of environmental protection, aiming to leave a positive impact on all participants.

Throughout the festival, Armada Prod—organizers and main production company—will deploy a team of photographers and videographers to capture the essence of this grand celebration. Their footage and images will document the festival’s magic and serve as lasting memories.

Seamless Experience with Innovative Payment Solutions

All festival logistics, from ticketing and reservations to cashless transactions on-site, will be managed via IJA Solutions. This cutting-edge platform ensures secure payments and provides valuable data feedback, enhancing the overall attendee experience through convenience and security.

Reflecting on the Festival’s Past Success

It’s worth noting that the inaugural chapter of Fenix Sound was held from April 19 to April 21, 2024, in Matmata, within Gabès Governorate. That edition attracted 350 festival-goers, including around fifty international visitors representing countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Morocco, Ecuador, and more. The success of this initial event laid the foundation for what promises to be an even more dynamic and vibrant second chapter in Bizerte.

A Cultural and Musical Celebration Awaits

With its dedicated artistic lineup, stunning natural setting, and commitment to sustainability and community development, Fenix Sound’s second chapter in Cap Serrat is destined to be a memorable event—one where music, nature, and culture come together, uniting hearts beyond borders in celebration of life and art.
