Civil protection teams recovered yesterday, Saturday, the body of a 17-year-old young man who died by drowning at Korba beach, according to a security source cited by the Tunis Afrique Presse agency.
According to the same source, the events date back to a sea excursion by four students from Korba Secondary School.
One of them is said to have been carried away by the sea currents, without his companions being able to rescue him.
The three other students were transported to the local hospital of Korba in order to receive the necessary care, while the body of the deceased was transferred to Mohamed Taher Maamouri University Hospital in Nabeul.
