In a press release published on Sunday, June 28, 2026, the National Register of Enterprises confirmed its transition to fully digital services as of July 1, 2026.
The Register urged users to obtain their digital identity now in order to access the platform and perform all transactions as well as electronic filing procedures. It stated that the “DIGIGO” application is intended for legal entities; this application is linked to the entity’s unique identifier.
For individuals, the “Hawiya” (Identity) application has been selected; it is linked to the user’s national identity card number.
On May 19, 2026, the National Register of Enterprises clarified that with the move to exclusively electronic filing as of July 1, 2026, obtaining a digital identity has become an essential step to carry out transactions with ease and security.
The National Register of Enterprises’ call to adopt a digital identity aims to prevent any disruption to transactions and to enable access to rapid and secure digital services, available 24 hours a day.
