The designation of Tunis as the Arab Capital of Tourism for the year 2027 marks a major recognition of its potential for tourism, culture and heritage, as well as its strategic role in the regional and international influence of the Tunisian destination.
It is in this context that the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced in a joint statement the organization of a national competition aimed at designing the logo and the official visual identity of the program “Tunis, Arab Capital of Tourism 2027.”
This competition is open to students enrolled in public and private universities, as part of the national preparations related to this program and with the aim of bringing together the best conditions to ensure the success of this international event.
This initiative fits into a process of valorizing the designation of Tunis as Arab Capital of Tourism for 2027, in recognition of its civilizational, cultural and touristic influence. It also represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen its influence at the Arab and international levels.
Note that the deadline for submitting applications has been set for April 19, 2026.
