QNB Tunisia, a subsidiary of the QNB Group, a leading financial group in the Middle East and Africa, announces particularly solid financial indicators at the end of the first half of 2026. These results reflect the bank’s sustained commercial momentum, the resilience of its business model, and its ability to outperform the sector average.
During the first six months of 2026, QNB Tunisia confirmed the trust of its customers by significantly strengthening its balance sheet. Indeed, customer deposits reached 1,647 million dinars as of June 30, 2026, marking a growth of 11.7% compared with June 2025.
In fueling the economy, client loans jumped 25.2% year over year to stand at 1,737 million dinars.
Similarly, supported by assisting companies in their projects and their international operations, off-balance-sheet commitments recorded a sharp rise of 38.8% to reach 346 million dinars.
Remarkable growth in Net Banking Income and an increase in profitability
Net Banking Income (NBI) of QNB Tunisia amounts to 42.9 million dinars at the end of the first half of 2026, up 16.1% compared to 30 June 2025.
This momentum surpasses the average observed in the Tunisian banking sector over the same period. This financial performance is the result of a successful diversification of revenues.
Thus, the interest margin shows a progression of 14.7% to stand at 34.8 million dinars, demonstrating the control of funding costs and the development of volumes despite a highly competitive context.
Furthermore, the “other banking income” records a robust increase of 22.3%, driven by the enrichment of the service offering and market activities.
