Stock Market Week: Tunindex Continues Its Rise

As in the two previous weeks, the Tunindex continued its advance, posting a 1.6% gain during the week of July 6–10, 2026 to stand at 20,158.7 points, thereby bringing its year-to-date performance to 49.9%.

The past week was marked by a sustained pace of trading, as the turnover totaled 61.6 million dinars (MD). Volumes benefited from the execution of a block transaction on the BIAT stock totaling 5 MD.

Stock Performance

The STAR stock delivered the best performance of the week. The share rose by 14.7% to 94,000 dinars (D). It amassed a turnover of 304 during the trading week. BH ASSURANCE continued its ascent. The stock rose 14.1% to 87,210 D, in almost zero volume.

The STIP stock recorded the largest decline for the week. The share shed 7.9% to 14,140 D. It traded to the tune of 27 thousand dinars over the past week. The SOPTIPAPIER stock ranked among the week’s biggest losers. The share fell 4.5% to 9,810 D. It registered modest weekly trading of 4 thousand dinars.

AMEN BANK was the most dynamic stock of the week, attracting capital of 5.9 MD, or 9.6% of the total market traded volume.
