The Tunis Transport Company (Transtu) announced on Tuesday the extension of the bus line 24F’s route to the Mghira Inzel area, as part of improving the transport offering and facilitating residents’ daily movements.

An extension of 1.7 km in each direction

In a press release, Transtu indicated that this decision comes after a field study conducted in response to a request by the residents of Mghira Inzel.

The terminus of the line, previously located at Cité El Amal in Fouchana, has thus been extended to Mghira Inzel. This modification adds 1.7 kilometers in each direction to the route.

The company specifies that the fare remains unchanged, at 500 millimes.

A 7.8 km route

With this extension, line 24F now connects Mghira Inzel to the bus-metro transfer station “El Montazah” in Mourouj 2.

The total length of the route thus reaches 7.8 kilometers in each direction.

In the direction Mghira Inzel–El Mourouj 2, the bus serves notably Mghira Inzel, Cité El Amal, the Earth Avenue in Fouchana and the Mghira industrial zone before arriving at the transfer station “El Montazah”. The return trip follows the same itinerary in the opposite direction.

First departures from 5:30 a.m.

Transtu has also announced the schedules for the first departures of the day.

The first bus will depart from Mghira Inzel at 5:30 a.m., while the first departure from the transfer station “El Montazah” is scheduled at 6:00 a.m.

This extension aims to bring public transport services closer to the residents of the area and to facilitate their travel to Fouchana and the Mourouj transfer network.
