Tunis Stock Exchange: Tunindex Falls

Market Overview

As in the two previous sessions, the stock market closed the session on Thursday, April 2, 2026, on a downbeat note.

The Tunindex slipped 0.36% to 15,295.99 points in a relatively solid trading volume of 7.6 million dinars, and this occurred in the absence of block trades.

Performance of the stocks

The ESSOUKNA share posted the best performance of the session. Without mobilizing much intraday flow, it advanced by 4.72% to 3,770 D. The MAG GENERAL stock recorded a remarkable performance, rising 4.42% to 11,090 D with virtually no capital inflows during the session.

The STAR stock finished as the session’s laggard in the TUNINDEX. The share declined by 5.15% to 61,120 D, noting that the stock drew a modest trading volume of 40 thousand dinars during the session. In the declines column, the SOTRAPIL stock fell 3.18% to 27,400 D. It attracted 55 thousand dinars in trading.

The ONE TECH HOLDING stock led the turnover chart. The share shed 1.13% to 9,590 D, fueling the market with 983 thousand dinars of capital.

SOTIPAPIER – In accordance with current regulations, the company is launching a call for applications for the designation of two independent directors to sit on its board of directors for the periods covering fiscal years 2026, 2027 and 2028.

The designation will take place at the forthcoming ordinary general meeting that will be convened for this purpose.

Also a call for candidates is issued for the designation of a director representing minority shareholders, which will take place by means of an election at an extraordinary general meeting of minority shareholders that will be convened for this purpose and will be submitted to ratification at the ordinary general meeting to decide on the 2025 fiscal year.
