Tunis Stock Exchange: Tunindex Opens the Week Lower

Market Landscape

The stock market kicked off the week on a negative note. The benchmark index posted on Monday, September 21, 2026 a decline of 0.77% to 18,874.50 points, in a volume of 4.9 million dinars (MD), with no block trades executed.

Stock Performance

The BTE share posted the session’s best performance. It rose 4.38% to 6.680 dinars (D), in light trading of about 1 thousand dinars. Without much capital flowing into the session, the TAIR stock, in turn, advanced 3.33% to 0.310 D.

The STIP share finished as the red lantern of the TUNINDEX. With virtually no trading activity during the session, the stock fell 4.40% to 7.600 D. The SOMOC share did not perform well on the market that session, declining 4.17% to 0.690 D. The stock hardly mobilized capital flows during the day.

The BNA was the most traded stock of the session. The share fell 0.98% to 20.160 D, drawing around 843 thousand dinars in capital.

SIAME – The company informs its shareholders that, following approval by the President of the Chamber of Judicial Administration, of the decisions of the Ordinary General Assembly held on June 29, 2026, which notably decided the distribution of a dividend of 0.070 Dinar per share for the 2025 fiscal year, the detachment and payment dates of the dividends have been set as follows:

  • Detachment date: September 23, 2026;
  • Payment date: September 25, 2026.

The dividend payments will be made with stock market intermediaries, via TUNISIE CLEARING, for the shares deposited there.
