Tunis Stock Exchange: Tunindex Opens Week Lower

The stock market opened the week on a bearish note. The benchmark index fell by 0.83% to 19,515.16 points on Monday, August 24, 2026, with a turnover of 5.7 million dinars (MD), and with no block transactions executed.

Stock Performance

The TAIR share posted the best performance of the session. It rose by 3.03% to 0.340 dinars (D), in a limited turnover of only 2 thousand dinars. With almost no capital inflow on the day, the NBL stock advanced by 2.65% to 3.490 D.

The STPIL share found itself at the bottom of the TUNINDEX. Mobilizing a turnover of 43 thousand dinars, the stock dropped by 4.62% to 31.000 D. The AST value did not perform well on the market during the session, declining by 4.34% to 74.070 D. The stock hardly attracted any capital flows during the day.

AB was the most traded stock of the session. The share slightly fell by 0.37% to 90.600 D, supplying the market with capital of around 723 thousand dinars.

PGH – The company informs its shareholders and the public that its Extraordinary General Meeting held on June 3, 2026, decided to increase the company’s share capital from 180,003,600 dinars to 189,003,780 dinars, by incorporating reserves amounting to 9,000,180 dinars.

Moreover, the Extraordinary General Meeting held on August 3, 2026 decided to delegate to the Board of Directors all powers necessary to set the ex-rights date for the allocation of free shares, determine the distribution dates related thereto, decide on the modalities of execution and, more generally, perform all steps and formalities required for the execution of the capital increase decided by the Extraordinary General Meeting of June 3, 2026.

Under this delegation, the Board of Directors, meeting on August 3, 2026, decided to set the ex-rights date for the allocation of free shares at September 7, 2026.
