The IOM Tunisia today announced that 309 Guinean and Ivorian migrants have safely returned to their home country thanks to two charter flights organized under the IOM Tunisia’s Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) program.

“In accordance with IOM procedures, beneficiaries receive personalized assistance before, during and after their return, including medical and psychosocial support, sustainable livelihoods, and individualized care,” said a statement from IOM Tunisia.

As a reminder, the AVRR program of IOM Tunisia is supported by the European Union and the governments of Austria, the Czech Republic, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
