Tunisia Launches First Version of National Mobile App for Digital Administrative Services Khadamat

The Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies announced the launch of the first version of the national mobile application for digital administrative services, “Khadamat”, which enables citizens to access online administrative services in a unified and secure manner, 24/7, thanks to the digital identity.

The application offers an integrated suite of digital services, including notably :

• viewing personal data linked to the digital identity, such as the phone number, the email address used for communications, and the residential address, with the ability to update them easily ;

• access to data related to administrative documents, such as the driver’s license and the vehicle registration document, as well as timely notifications and alerts regarding their expiration dates ;

• tracking of social services, notably those of the National Health Insurance Fund (CNAM), reimbursement of costs, career path and declarations to the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) ;

• access to online tax services, such as purchasing the travel stamp and the payment of the road tax ;

• access to services related to road traffic, notably the consultation of infractions, making an appointment for the technical inspection, as well as monitoring the expiration of the motor vehicle insurance contract and the validity of the driving license ;

• filing and monitoring of applications for several online administrative services, as well as obtaining electronic administrative documents, notably civil status certificates ;

• electronic payment of invoices and of enrollment fees for children in schools and universities ;

• access to new digital services that will be added progressively, as part of the development of e-government and in response to citizens’ needs.

“Khadamat” aims to be a simple, secure, and accessible application for everyone, designed to bring the administration closer to the citizen and to facilitate daily life.
