In the Negreira affair, Real Madrid is not giving up and continues to multiply judicial steps in order to shed light on the alleged payments made by FC Barcelona to José María Enríquez Negreira, former vice-president of the referees’ technical committee. According to AS, the Merengues have asked the judge to compel Barça to transmit the entirety of its compliance system between 2010 and 2018.

Real Madrid also demands that the Civil Guard provide several financial documents missing from the file. These include invoices, payment authorizations, internal channels and audits of the companies.

At Valdebebas, Real Madrid intends to see the procedure through to the end, both legally and on the sporting side.

The capital club has moreover asked UEFA to strip FC Barcelona of the titles won during the period covered by the Negreira affair between 2001 and 2018, i.e., 35 titles.
