The University of Jendouba opens a call for students carrying innovative projects to participate in a university gathering in Algeria.

Applications are open until November 8, 2026; travel and accommodation will be provided for the selected projects.

The ninth meeting of the Algerian-Tunisian border universities (5+5) will take place on December 8-9, 2026 at Chadli Bendjedid University in El Tarf, around the theme of the smart university.

The call concerns students enrolled at the University of Jendouba in 2026-2027: bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, integrated preparatory cycle, engineering training and doctoral studies. It is addressed to innovators as well as students holding the status of student-entrepreneur within the university’s dedicated hub.

Three domains are proposed: an academic assistant based on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and protection of university data, as well as the use of big data to help administrative decision-making in universities.

Selected students will be able to present their prototypes in a space dedicated to innovation. According to the university, applications must be submitted via the electronic form provided for this call.
