The Union Sportive Monastirienne announced this Saturday that it has officially reached an agreement with coach Fathi Abidi to take charge of the technical direction of the first football team, succeeding Tarek Jarraya, whose contract was terminated last Sunday.
It was also agreed with Abidi to maintain the technical staff in place. Ahmed Briri will thus continue in his role as fitness coach, Mohamed Zouaoui will continue to fulfill the role of goalkeeper coach, while Adam Makni will retain his position in charge of monitoring and evaluation.
The team from the capital of the Ribat is currently fifth in the standings with 37 points.
