The Ministry of Health announced that, as part of its strategy to modernize and reform the health system and to improve the relationship between public service and citizens, Sahloul University Hospital in Sousse has been selected as the first pilot site for the launch of a digital application dedicated to receiving and processing requests and complaints.
The project was presented and the mechanisms of its operation discussed within the institution. This service will notably enable to :
-
accelerate the processing of complaints and requests and link them to the relevant structures,
-
ensure a clear and transparent tracking of each query, from submission to closure,
-
offer digital archiving that reduces the use of paper,
-
strengthen good governance by limiting blockages and manipulations, and by dedicating the fight against corruption through monitoring, transparency and accountability.
The choice of Sahloul as the experimental site will allow testing the application on the ground, identifying the necessary improvements, and then gradually scaling it nationwide, in order to strengthen the quality of services and protect patients’ rights.
