The Minister of Finance, Michket Slama Khaldi, received this morning at the ministry’s headquarters Bill Bazzi, the United States ambassador to Tunisia. The meeting served to reaffirm the solidity of the relations between the two countries and to discuss the ongoing axes of cooperation.

According to the information released, the meeting provided an opportunity to underline the depth of the historical relations between Tunisia and the United States, as well as the importance of continuing their consolidation.
Financial and technical cooperation at the core of exchanges
The discussions also focused on the main components of the partnership and of the existing financial and technical cooperation between the two parties, with a mutual will to maintain a sustained work dynamic.
Towards new investment and partnership opportunities
The Minister of Finance and the American ambassador also stressed the need to open broader prospects in terms of investment and partnerships, in order to support opportunities deemed promising.
