A diplomat responsible for economic affairs at the Tunisian embassy in Japan conducted, on March 10, 2026, a visit to the FOODEX JAPAN 2026 International Food Industries Exhibition, organized in Tokyo from March 10 to 13, 2026. This event ranks among the most important professional gatherings dedicated to the agri-food sector in Asia and worldwide.
This visit enabled him to tour the various pavilions of the exhibition and to discover the latest innovations and products showcased in the field of the food industries.
The Tunisian official also met with several Tunisian exhibitors participating in this international event in order to promote Tunisian olive oil, the flagship product of the country’s agricultural exports.
The discussions focused on ways to strengthen the presence of Tunisian olive oil in the Japanese market and on opportunities to develop new commercial partnerships with Japanese economic and professional actors in the agri-food sector.
