Tunisia: Decisive Parliament Session on the Development Plan (Video)

The Assembly of the People’s Representatives resumes, this Friday starting at 9:30 a.m., its plenary session devoted to the examination and the vote of the bill approving the development plan 2026-2030.

The responses of the Minister of Economy expected

Before the vote, the deputies will hear the responses of the Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Abdelhafidh, to the questions and observations raised during the parliamentary debates.

The minister is expected to provide details on the various economic and social orientations foreseen in the development plan covering the 2026-2030 period.

A vote after the end of the exchanges

Following the minister’s responses and the closing of the discussions, the Assembly will proceed to vote on the bill relating to the approval of the development plan.

This text must set out Tunisia’s main economic, social, and regional priorities for the next five years.
