The General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) has set the tax deadlines for the month of August 2026, reminding taxpayers of their filing and payment obligations.
August 17: Filing of the monthly declaration by individuals
August 20: Final deadline for filing the monthly declaration by legal entities enrolled in the online filing and remote tax payment system
August 25: Filing of the income declaration for individuals who earn agricultural or fishing business profits.
August 28: Final deadline for filing the monthly declaration by legal entities other than those enrolled in the online filing and remote tax payment system
The DGI reminded that if the final deadline for filing tax declarations coincides with a public holiday or Sunday it is possible to file the cited declaration the following day without penalties.
