In Libya, the Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced that the head of the Production Department had held a periodic meeting with the heads of the Production and Operations Departments of the operating oil companies.

The meeting focused on mechanisms to strengthen communication and coordination between the NOC and the operating oil companies. Participants also reviewed the main operational challenges and difficulties affecting production activities, as well as ways to accelerate responses to address them through direct communication and an exchange of information enabling timely intervention.

For its part, the head of the NOC’s Production Department, Miftah Bouzahra, stressed the company’s willingness to support sector enterprises and to work in a spirit of teamwork. He emphasized that the objective of raising production to around 1.5 million barrels per day by the end of the current year requires a collective mobilization of efforts and ongoing coordination in order to maintain production levels and to increase them.
