The Fifth Central Brigade of the Sub-Directorate for Combating Narcotics, under the Judicial Police of El Gorjani, has dismantled an active drug trafficking network following significant intelligence work and field operations, according to a security source.

The same source indicates that eight people have been arrested in connection with this operation.

Security forces also seized a quantity of cocaine, 27 cannabis slabs, as well as an amount of money exceeding 27,000 Tunisian dinars.

Three luxury cars and a motorcycle, which are believed to have been used for drug trafficking activities, were also seized.

Investigations are continuing to determine the full extent of the network and to identify any other suspects involved.
