The Kuwaiti club Al-Qadsia officially announced, this Wednesday, the departure of its Tunisian coach Nabil Maâloul, thus ending a one-season collaboration, concluded with a third place in the Kuwaiti championship.

Since taking charge of Al-Qadsia on June 11, 2025, the 62-year-old coach has not managed to reduce the gap with his great rival, Kuwait SC, the defending champions, who have maintained a significant lead.

Al-Qadsia had to settle for finishing tied on points with Al-Arabi in the final standings.

It was Nabil Maâloul’s third stint in Kuwait. The former head coach of the Carthage Eagles had previously led the Kuwaiti national team, before achieving notable success with Kuwait SC, with which he had won the league, the cup and the Super Cup.
