The French prime minister Sébastien Lecornu announced on the X network that “taxis, from October 1, will be able to benefit from assistance for the purchase or rental of an electric vehicle, with a ceiling raised to €65,000 per vehicle,”
“For taxi drivers, the car is a working tool. The sustained rise in fuel costs therefore weighs directly on their activity,” writes Sébastien Lecornu, who indicated that this measure will allow taxi fleets to no longer bear the persistent increases in fuel prices by accelerating their electrification.
Sébastien Lecornu had announced that all companies would be able to help their employees who come to work by car in the face of rising fuel costs, through a fuel allowance increasing from €300 to €600, fully tax-exempt and socially exempt, with no condition.
