It is the second day of negotiations in Islamabad, and the 44th day of war in the Middle East, between Iran, Israel and the United States.
For the Iranian delegation, the talks will only begin if Washington accepts “Iran’s preconditions”, namely a ceasefire in Lebanon and the unfreezing of the country’s assets before any discussion.
Under the aegis of Pakistani authorities, the discussions are to begin this Saturday between Iran and the United States to reach an agreement to bring the war to a definitive end.
