Written by: Adel Khelifi on October 28, 2026

The Tunis Stock Exchange ends the session on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, with a slight rise in the Tunindex to 18,400.38 points. Turnover on the board reaches 5.18 million dinars, while BVMT records 25 stocks down versus 20 up.

A rise in indices that does not benefit the entire market

The Tunindex rises by 0.09 %, while the Tunindex20 advances by 0.16 %, to 8 064.95 points. The market capitalization of the main market stands at around 45.33 billion dinars, up 0.10 % for the session.

Among the 75 listed companies, BVMT counts 20 stocks showing a gain, 25 a loss, 15 unchanged, 13 without trading during the session and two suspended.

The number of declines exceeding the gains does not prevent the index from advancing: the Tunindex is weighted by free float market capitalization, and thus each stock does not exert the same influence on it.

5.18 million dinars traded on the market

On the market, turnover reached 5.18 million dinars, spread over 1,698 transactions. No block trade was recorded.

The total of operations recorded by BVMT totals 23.91 million dinars. It includes 18.73 million registrations, accounted separately from the trades on the market.

Five stocks concentrate nearly half of the capital

Amen Bank occupies first place by traded capital, ahead of Poulina Group Holding. Together with SFBT, Carthage Cement and BNA, these five stocks gather 2.56 million dinars, i.e. 49.37 % of the main market’s capital — TN calculation.
