Civil Protection units carried out 612 interventions in the last 24 hours, including 110 fire-fighting operations, according to data published this Wednesday by the Civil Protection spokesperson on his Facebook page.

These interventions were carried out between 6:00 AM Tuesday and 6:00 AM Wednesday across the entire territory.

In detail, Civil Protection teams carried out 165 road rescue and evacuation operations, as well as 324 emergency-response interventions not related to road traffic accidents.

The units also intervened on beaches five times, while eight other diverse interventions were recorded during the same period.

This tally shows the strong mobilization of Civil Protection teams, especially in the face of fires, road accidents and various situations requiring emergency assistance.
