The Agricultural Investment Promotion Agency (APIA) will organize, during February 2026, a series of open days at the central and regional levels. This initiative aims to boost the pace of private investment in the agricultural sector and to provide tailored support to young promoters as well as to existing project holders.
According to the timetable set by the agency, activities will begin on Monday, February 12 in the governorate of La Manouba, before being generalized on February 16, 2026 at the central level and across all regions. This approach reflects a commitment to bringing services closer to citizens across all parts of the country.
The event targets a wide range of actors in the sector, notably investors looking to launch new agricultural projects, but also promoters whose projects are at a standstill or facing administrative and technical difficulties. The organizers intend to listen to their concerns and propose concrete solutions to revive their investments.
These days will take place in collaboration with several institutional partners to ensure the effectiveness of the interventions. Among them are the National Agricultural Bank (BNA), the Tunisian Bank of Solidarity (BTS), the customs services, the Tunisian Company for Electricity and Gas (STEG), the Land Property Office, the tax control offices, as well as the regional commissions for agricultural development and the National Agency for Employment and Self-Employment (ANETI).
The program will focus on presenting the available investment opportunities, explaining the incentives and benefits granted to investors, as well as establishing a direct dialogue space between project holders and the administration. The objective is to remove administrative and financial obstacles that may hinder the realization of agricultural projects and to strengthen the sector’s attractiveness.
