The Agency for Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII), under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy, and in partnership with the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), will launch, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, a program aimed at supporting Tunisian industrial enterprises in their transition to Industry 4.0.
This initiative falls within the framework of the national program « Towards Industry 4.0 in Tunisia », which aims to support industrial companies in their digital transformation and to strengthen their ability to adopt modern technologies and solutions in their production and management processes.
A tailored support for businesses
According to the data presented on the occasion of the event, the program provides for the presentation of the support mechanisms aimed at industrial companies, notably the project « Industry 4.0 Label ».
The services offered by the competency centers specialized in Industry 4.0 will also be presented, as well as the support mechanisms intended for companies wishing to improve their level of digital maturity.
Tailored Support for Businesses
The event will also be devoted to the presentation of the tool TIMA (Tunisian Intelligent Manufacturing Assessment), a platform dedicated to diagnosing the digital maturity level of industrial companies.
This tool notably enables identifying the needs of companies regarding Industry 4.0 and contributing to the development of tailored roadmaps and pathways for their digital transformation.
Experiences of companies on the program
The program also provides for the presentation of experiences of industrial companies that have benefited from support measures in the field of Industry 4.0.
A session will also be devoted to the governance of the Industry 4.0 ecosystem, with a discussion on ways to strengthen coordination and integration among the various stakeholders and competency centers.
Accelerating the Digital Transformation of Industry
Through diagnostic services, technical support, and the development of roadmaps for digital transformation, this initiative aims to help industrial companies identify their needs and adopt appropriate solutions.
The objective is to promote the transition toward smarter production models, to strengthen the competitiveness of the Tunisian industry, and to accelerate its digitization process.
