Rain has been recorded in several regions of Tunisia over the past 24 hours.
According to the report from the National Institute of Meteorology (INM) published on Monday, September 21, 2026, the highest total reaches 57 mm at Sebalet Ouled Asker, in the Sidi Bouzid governorate.
Significant amounts were also recorded in Sfax, Kairouan, Kasserine and Nabeul.

The strongest accumulations in the bulletin reach 57 mm at Sebalet Ouled Asker, 33 mm at El Hencha, 31 mm at Nasrallah, 30 mm at Jelma, 27 mm at Jedeliane and 26 mm at Korba and Nabeul.

Sidi Bouzid: the national maximum reaches 57 mm
The Sidi Bouzid governorate records the highest total in the bulletin, with 57 mm at Sebalet Ouled Asker. The amounts also reach 30 mm at Jelma, 16 mm at Sidi Bouzid West, 11 mm at Sidi Bouzid East, and 1 mm at Ouled Haffouz.
Sfax: 33 mm at El Hencha and 21 mm at El Ghraba
In Sfax, the INM records 33 mm at El Hencha, 21 mm at El Ghraba, 18 mm at Et-Tahahra, 15 mm at Gremda, 9 mm at El Amra, 9 mm at Mahres, 5 mm at Sidi Mansour, 4 mm at Sakiet Eddaïer, 3 mm at Jebeniana, 2 mm at Agareb, 1 mm at Aïn Turkiya and 1 mm at Sfax-ville.
Kairouan: 31 mm at Nasrallah
In the governorate of Kairouan, the precipitation reaches 31 mm at Nasrallah and 15 mm at Ain Jloula. The INM also records 11 mm at Chebika, 10 mm at El Alem, 7 mm at Sidi Saad, 5 mm at Oueslatia, 4 mm at El Hajeb, 2 mm at Sbikha and 1 mm at El Alaa.
Kasserine: 27 mm at Jedeliane
In Kasserine, the total reaches 27 mm at Jedeliane. Sbiba records 7 mm, Sbeitla and Feriana 2 mm each, and Majel Bel Abbès 1 mm.
Nabeul: 26 mm at Korba and Nabeul
The governorate of Nabeul also ranks among the rainiest regions. The amounts reach 26 mm at Korba and 26 mm at Nabeul, 18 mm at Hammamet, 13 mm at El Haouaria and Azmour, 11 mm at Dar Allouch, 9 mm at Bouchrik, 7 mm at Kelibia, 5 mm at El Mida, 4 mm at Takelsa, as well as 2 mm at Hammam Ghezèze and Menzel Bouzelfa.
Zaghouan: up to 19 mm
In the governorate of Zaghouan, the Bir Mcherga dam reaches 19 mm, ahead of Zriba with 18 mm. The city of Zaghouan receives 12 mm, Nadhour 10 mm, while the Oued Rmel dam records 11 mm.
Monastir, Manouba and Mahdia also affected
In Monastir, Bekalta records 15 mm, while Teboulba and Ouerdanine reach 10 mm each. In the Manouba governorate, the total recorded also reaches 15 mm.
In Mahdia, Ksour Essaf receives 11 mm, Ouled Chamekh 4 mm, El Jem and Sidi Alouane 2 mm each, and Cherarda 1 mm.
Observations in 19 governorates
Further north, the bulletin notes notably 12 mm at Sakiet Sidi Youssef in Kef, 12 mm at Fernana in Jendouba, as well as low amounts in Beja and Siliana.
In the Tunis governorate, La Goulette and Sidi Bou Saïd each record 4 mm. Ariana records 1 mm.
Precipitation is also reported in Bizerte, Sousse, Kebili and Gabès. The INM notes notably 5 mm at Sidi El Hani, 4 mm at Kondar, 4 mm at El Faouar and 4 mm at Tounine.
